Development of Manufacturing of POWER STEERING PUMP HOUSING used for Motor

Our project has a potential ability to grow up rapidly to the special exporting products including our domestic motor’s market if the undecided problem can be solved technologically.

In case of oil pump in appliances, the effect of production sales in the electric field can be expected, if we will get the key to succeed in the project, DIE CASTING mixing the squeeze with vacuum manufacturing method.

GOAL

The latest high pressure DIE CASTING manufacturing adding to squeeze and vacuum manufacturing method with the raw material of aluminum makes the surface hardness of product HRB 55 to 60 and R&D is processing to prevent the leakage of pressure oil of POWER STEERING PUMP, to be applied widely in parts of other motors and household electric appliances as well as to make the improvement of production in the whole industry and cost reduction.

The purpose of R&D

It’s really difficult that the surface hardness is fixed in HRB 55 to 60 with the raw material of aluminum. R&D is processing to prevent the leakage of pressure oil of POWER STEERING PUMP, to be applied widely in parts of other motors. Based on these, safety security of aluminum casting in the whole industry can be realized.

The pending project of gravitation casting, improvement of production and increasing the surface hardness, can be solved via aluminum DIE CASTING adding to squeeze and vacuum manufacturing method. This manufacturing method of research project is superior to gravitation casting in economical efficiency, so we tried to apply to the major parts, but got the result of decreasing hardness affecting abrasion resistance. So about POWER STEERING PUMP HOUSING the development is processing to apply mass production as well as similar products which needs abrasion resistance and airtightness.

Gravitation casting has the serious problem in the security of production by now, so it cause the Economical loss to produce up to 3 million a year and just leave the pending project now.
